Famous Japanese Actress and Honorary Director of the Japan Pavilion Norika Fujiwara Visited the Turkmenistan Pavilion

At the Turkmenistan National Pavilion at the Expo 2025, held in Osaka, Japan, an important meeting took place. It was attended by the famous Japanese actress and Honorary Director of the Japan Pavilion, Norika Fujiwara. This visit was of great importance as it symbolized the strengthening of friendly relations and cultural exchange between the two countries.

During her visit, Norika Fujiwara toured the exhibition area of the pavilion and became acquainted with the large-scale reforms currently being implemented in Turkmenistan, as well as the consistent progress in the fields of energy, industry, healthcare, education, and sports.

She also visited the museum-like third floor of the pavilion, where she viewed exhibits of Turkmen carpets, traditional embroidered national costumes, Turkmen jewelry, and other cultural values. In addition, she tasted Turkmen national dishes at the ethnographic restaurant designed in the national style, which presents the traditions of Turkmen cuisine.

The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere, demonstrating Turkmenistan’s and Japan’s readiness to develop international cooperation and expand cultural ties. Norika Fujiwara’s visit played an important role in strengthening cultural relations between the two countries. Such events serve the main purpose of Expo 2025—to promote mutual understanding and friendly relations among nations.
